A malevolent force in your life, aware of the occult and intentionally taking actions against you. Perhaps a roguish figure who has two emotional lives that do not overlap. Avoid vices and scandal or people associated with them.

King of Cups for Aries in The Future

The Initiator

Cups are the water suit, so the King of Cups sits in Cancer. Cancer squares Aries, so the card asks for the move Aries is least fluent in: say the feeling to the person it is about. The friction is the content, not an obstacle to it. Upright, this is the element used out in the world, at the cost of still feeling it.

When reading about what comes next through an Aries lens, the King of Cups says that you feel like the future is happening right now and you are late for it, something to grab before it passes (or before you miss your window), and the only thing that matters more than what is actually in front of you. This has either made you the person who sees what is coming and moves first, or left you burned out from trying to run toward every door at once. You already know what comes next, and you are afraid of what it will cost you to get there. The Aries blind spot in it is the feeling that nothing you do makes any difference, that you are not the center of the story.

In practice that can look like wanting something you had stopped admitting to, or a place that feels like home. Whatever form it takes, it is being decided by whoever holds the authority.
